Clients and projects

As Canada’s only tech-focused municipal consultancy, we’ve been fortunate to work with all types of organizations: regions, cities, towns, counties, libraries and other agencies.

Our team of consultants has extensive experience working in different municipal settings, giving us the flexibility to work with any sized organization. Below is a sample of recent clients and projects.

Large municipalities (150,000+ residents)

Sample projects include:

  • City of Brampton - Digital and Technology Strategy

  • City of Burlington - Land Management Database Platform Review

  • City of Regina - Corporate GIS Strategy

  • City of Windsor - IT Strategy

  • Region of Waterloo - Digital and Service Transformation Strategy

  • Region of York - Development Approvals Business Systems Review

  • Ben and his team have been involved in two important projects at the City. He led the development of our IT Governance Framework and came back to lead the development of our Corporate GIS Strategy.

During the ebb and flow of both projects, I observed characteristics within Ben that ensure the working relationship will continue. Ben has the confidence and ability to communicate as clearly to senior leadership as he does to blue-collar staff. He is articulate and has a very good sense of humour. Ben identifies issues quickly, and reports honestly on what he has observed. Besides identifying issues, he sees opportunity and suggests practical solutions. He has walked in our shoes, and has also gained applicable experience consulting in other public jurisdictions facing the same challenges we do.

Most importantly, Ben interacts with us foremost as “people” instead of clients. He has earned my trust. My true feeling is that his first priority is to do whatever he can to help our city function better, not to pad his billable hours.
